Spotlight: Nathalie Baye
October 15 – 21, 2010

Scene Photo Nathalie Baye in person!
On Tuesday, October 19 the award-winning French film star will introduce the 8:30pm screening of Cliente and participate in a post-screening Q&A.
Tickets available online: Buy now!

For over thirty years now, Nathalie Baye has created one of the most unique careers in cinema, working with major directors ranging from Truffaut and Godard to Spielberg, from Pialat to Chabrol, in some of their most challenging films. Petite and ever graceful (she’s a former dancer), Baye always brings a quiet strength to her roles, a sense that behind the calm, almost demure façade there’s incredible energy and passion ready to burst out.

Inaugurating a new annual series, co-presented by the Film Society and Unifrance, Spotlight: Nathalie Baye will feature an illustrated conversation with Ms. Baye about her career on October 15, as well as screenings of some of her best-loved films: Le Petit Lieutenant, The Mouth Agape, Detective, The Green Room, and Catch Me If You Can.
