Under the Influence of Busby Berkeley Series: Dance on Camera 2009 Busby Berkeley's penchant for crazy camera moves, sex, elaborate staging, geometry and stream-of-consciousness editing resonates in American culture today, as his techniques have been copied to sell everything from household appliances to cigarettes and pharmaceuticals. Join choreographer and filmmaker Kriota Willberg as she explores Berkeley's influence on cinematography and choreographic style through recent independent and studio films, music videos, and commercials.
